Nova Sophia

Martine Weber · 2023

In my painting 'Nova Sophia,' I capture a breathtaking scene from the top of a mountain overlooking a small city. On the right, a citadel stands proudly, descending into a serene lake below. The landscape is bathed in the soft glow of a beautiful full moon, casting a gentle light over the surroundings. A white mist delicately veils their peaks as the moonlight dances over the mountains, creating an enchanting atmosphere. In the background, a subtle hint of an aurora borealis graces the night sky, adding a touch of celestial magic to the scene. The creation begins with a detailed sketch, capturing the city, citadel, and mountainous terrain. Layers of paint, skillfully applied, bring the scene to life, each stroke contributing to the mystique of 'Nova Sophia.' I use a mix of brushes and techniques to convey the moonlit night's serene beauty and the aurora's ethereal presence. Explore the layers of 'Nova Sophia,' a landscape painted with a palette that mirrors the tranquility and enchantment of this picturesque mountain view. Each stroke echoes the magic of the moonlit night, inviting you to immerse yourself in the serene beauty of 'Nova Sophia.' I am open to commissions in my art style. This can be cityscapes or dreamscapes. Or a variation of my artwork presented on this website.
